 Thank you, for creating this wonderful proram. So easy to manipulate and fast. But I have not the Duplicate File Searcher 2.1 but allready the 2.2 Version. I'm asking me, if there is not a possibility to rename files with such a tool. That should be very simple.From first file take the extension and replace it with Prefix .AND. Suffix .AND. the saved Extension. Ah yes, I had to restart the Programm every time, after deleting files. Because, he didn't start again. But that is not so difficult. Really hand piece of software. Still deduping, but results so far have been perfect - good level of functionality.

 Great, but... I wanted to use this to organize pictures. I have various exact copies with different file names, and wanted to keep just one copy of each. The files total about 330,000 all together. I was excited about Duplicate Files Searcher because it said it would do exactly what I wanted: Do a byte-for-byte comparison with an unlimited number of files, regardless of file name, and move all but one copy of each file to a different folder. If I process in batches of less than 25,000 files, it works. If I try with more than that, the routine hangs at "enumerating" for ...
